Words from the President

Hi Everyone:

This will be my last newsletter as president and I want to thank everyone for their help and support for the last three years.  No one person could have accomplished what the club has done in this timeframe and I deeply appreciate all your talents and hard work.  I congratulate Maureen and her
executive board on their election and promise my support on their future endeavors. Jim and I will stay on as chairman of the festival and parade so we will certainly not fade into the woodwork.

Tuesday, May 17th, will be our last meeting of the year and we will have our good-bye pot luck supper, so sharpen up your culinary skills and we will have a great send off.  Safe trip to all you snow birds and we will see you in September (or October)

I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Chuck for all his efforts as our newsletter editor.  It takes great effort to put out a newsletter of this caliber and his writing talents are evident.  Thanks, Chuck

Editor's Notes

The Leprechaun editor’s name and email address are listed above. Please, it would be a good time for members to send to the Editor some Irish tales, articles about trips to Ireland, Irish recipes, etc.  Help us share our heritage with others. The Newsletter Editor continues to work with the Membership Chairman to be sure new members get The Leprechaun.  If you are aware of members who are not receiving the newsletter, please put them in touch with me.  Please keep me informed of any changes to your email and postal addresses. Additionally, I had an issue with my computer last month and lost all of my old files, so I am in the process of rebuilding them. If your birthday is not included, please let me or Peggy knows so it can be updated, or if the email is wrong. Copies of the list will be available at the October meeting and will be updated appropriately. Thanks for your help and patience in this matter.

The Club’s web page is on line at http://pslirish.com/ and is currently being updated with some history of the organization, events and pictures of them as well.   We believe that the use of the web page will aid the growth of the club.  It is important that we share this information about our heritage with everyone we can.
